Wow!…What a Christmas Card
By Bill Collier, Production
Christmas is just around the corner, and one thing that’s part of the holiday tradition is Christmas cards. An estimated 1.9 billion Christmas cards are sent every year. This dates back to when the “official” Christmas cards began with Queen Victoria in the 1840s. (Thanks, Google, I sound really smart.) As a graphics guy, I love getting Christmas cards in the mail, and sending them can be fun too. This year, instead of buying cards, think about making your own. I like to draw a family picture with stick figures (anyone with NO drawing skills can do that). They have some resemblance of each of us and are funny. Okay, you don’t have to draw. You can do something else that your family and friends will like, just consider doing something different. Christmas cards with your personal touch are guaranteed to remain on the fridge long after the holidays are over and have everyone saying:
Wow!…What a Christmas Card
